We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative in the Food Processing industry, based in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, United States. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, troubleshooting customer complaints, maintaining customer and broker records, and performing administrative support duties.

Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming customer inquiries and intake information to assist with order processing, refunds, or exchanges.

• Handle customer complaints and anticipate potential customer issues to provide superior service.

• Make recommendations based on trend information through data collection and observation to identify organizational opportunities.

• Research and resolve invoice deductions and claims for applicable accounts.

• Provide administrative support to Regional Sales Managers in the form of correspondence, report generation, data entry, and credit deductions collections.

• Maintain a robust knowledge of all products, services, and guarantees to answer questions and troubleshoot problems during customer interactions.

• Maintain positive broker and sales territory relationships to address product needs and ensure appropriate inventory availability.

• Keep accurate customer and broker records to generate reports and manage workload and territories.

• Contribute to the team and collaborative environment by completing related projects or tasks as needed.

• Ensure invoicing of services is completed accurately and in a timely manner to meet customer demands.

• Ensure compliance with corporate/plant safety standards and regulatory requirements while following the company’s Good Manufacturing Practices.

• Manage customer reports required daily/weekly such as inventory versus orders by customer and order status reports.

• Ensure all shipments are shipped on time and in full by maintaining focus on availability for all customer products.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years experience in a customer service role within the Food & Food Processing industry

• Proficiency in answering inbound calls and handling inbound/outbound calls

• Familiarity with customer service standards and practices in a call center environment

• Ability to perform data entry tasks with high accuracy

• Competency in managing email correspondence professionally and promptly

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

• Experience with order entry procedures and systems

• Ability to schedule appointments effectively and efficiently

• Knowledge of Ross Systems is a plus

• Experience with international shipping and international sales

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively

• Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive work environment

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, if needed.
