• Setup and operate a CNC lathes in a non production work environment to support a variety of industries that include military, power generation, and mining.

• Materials are often steel or aluminum ranging from 3”-20” diameters.

• Most runs are 1-5 pieces with tolerance of .001”

work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC lathes (2-4 axis) to produce precision parts according to specifications.

• Utilize GD&T principles to ensure accuracy and quality in machining processes.

• Write and edit G-Code and M-Code programs for CNC machines.

• Perform manual machining tasks as needed to support production requirements.

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements.

• Use CAD/CAM software to design and optimize machining processes.

• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on Haas and Okuma machines.

• Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and quality.

Preferred Qualification:

• Proven experience as a CNC Tool Room Lathe Machinist.

• Knowledge of GD&T and CNC tooling.

• Proficiency in G-Code and M-Code programming.

• Solid manual machining skills.

• Experience with CAD/CAM software.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
