Description

• Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person regarding hardware, software, and network-related issues.

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices.

• Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues in a timely manner, escalating complex problems to the appropriate teams when necessary.

• Perform hardware and software installations, upgrades, and maintenance as needed.

• Set up and configure new user accounts, email accounts, and security access permissions.

• Maintain accurate records of hardware inventory, software licenses, and equipment configurations.

• Collaborate with other IT team members to identify and implement process improvements and best practices.

• Provide training and technical guidance to end-users as needed.

  Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.

• 2+ years of experience in a desktop support or similar role.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 10, Windows 11), Microsoft Office Suite, and other common desktop applications.

• Strong knowledge of PC hardware components, peripherals, and troubleshooting techniques.

• Experience with Active Directory, Exchange Server, and other network technologies preferred.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), or equivalent are a plus.
