EchoStar has an exciting opportunity in our Hughes Network Systems division for a Purchasing Intern . This position will be located at our Germantown, MD office.

Responsibilities:

• Actively participate and assist with all Buyer activities.

• Assist in the procurement and on-time delivery of production material needed to support our multiple product lines, all of which are built at our factory located in Germantown, MD.

• With guidance, established network of contacts and suppliers, Buyer shall and negotiate pricing and delivery requirements for a wide range of electronic components.

• Negotiations for secure supply and cost reductions with the existing supply base, as well as;

• Identify alternate suppliers to achieve the same goals.

Basic Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

• 60 credit hours or more by start of internship, June 2025

• 3.0 GPA or above

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP as our ERP system and Microsoft Office as our productivity suite.
