Kelly Services Computer Hardware Technician in Georgetown, Texas

Kelly® Professional & Industrial are seeking skilled and motivated Computer Technicians to join our team and work at a brand new IT facility in Georgetown, TX. As a Computer Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing hardware and software problems, providing technical support, and maintaining computer systems and networks.

Monday - Friday Shift:

  • 1st - 7am - 3:45pm

  • 2nd shift - 3pm - 11:45pm

Payrate:

  • 1st shift - $18.50/hr

  • 2nd shift - $21.28/hr

Computer Technicians Responsibilities:

• Carrying out system hardware repairs following correct procedures

• Conducting system tests and setting up systems for testing

• Updating systems and confirming updates

• Running system test scripts and procedures

• Analyzing and repairing system failures

• Identifying error codes

• Troubleshooting system errors to take corrective action

Collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical issues

Computer Technician Requirements :

  • Proven experience as a Computer Technician or similar role

  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing hardware and software issues

  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and peripherals

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Configuration experience in Microsoft OS VISTA/WIN7/SERVER/OFFICE suite and LINUX

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) are a plus
