Job Title: Industrial Pipefitter

Job Description

Performed pipe fabrication, installation, and fitting according to proper specifications. Identified and located required tools prior to starting each project. Inspected pipes and piping systems to assess their quality and condition. Hoisted loads using slings, chains, shackles, hooks, cables, and other rigging equipment. Cut and beveled piping using cutting torches, saws, and threading machines. Maintained tools and equipment to keep them in excellent working condition. Followed relevant codes, regulations, and safety techniques. Reviews and deciphers prints and work orders for production. Plans and performs fabrication using working instructions, appropriate materials, and tools. Fabricates piping systems with knowledge of oxy-fuel cutting and fitting. Cleans and prepares surfaces to be fit-up. Sets up, assembles, and tacks weld parts in preparation for welding. Ability to work with carbon steel and stainless steel.
