Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician performs routine and preventative maintenance on all equipment as directed. This role assists in various maintenance activities, including machine repair, installation of new equipment, building walkways, cleaning, and painting. The technician locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, and using precision measuring and testing instruments. Additionally, the technician removes defective parts by safely dismantling devices, using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools. The role involves informing the Maintenance Manager about equipment problems, safety concerns, and the procurement of spare parts and tools. The Maintenance Technician will also undertake any other duties assigned by the Company.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Georgetown, South Carolina.

Work Environment

Training on day shift for the first week from 8am to 5pm, including safety training on the first day and HR training on the second day. Regular shift is Day Shift Monday-Friday, 6am/7am-2:30pm/3:30pm (Flexible). Once trained, will be on-call rotation including weekends. The environment is non-climate controlled and can be hot in the summer.
