Financial Services Specialist:

The Lyons National Bank has an excellent opportunity in our Geneva Branch for the position of Financial Services Specialist. This position is responsible for performing a variety of duties to support the financial services function of the Bank. Some duties include but not limited to; helping to achieve sales goals as established in the Bank's annual operating plan; provide excellent service to customers; comply with operating policies and procedures established for the financial services function; communicate with appropriate personnel; respond to inquiries or requests for information; maintain appropriate records and provide assigned reports.

Qualified candidates will possess an Associate's degree or equivalent. They will also have specialized investment and/or insurance education and training. Existing Series 6 or 7 and 63 licenses are required, as well as appropriate state insurance licenses; if not existing, willing to work towards and obtain certifications within 6 months of hire. Previous experience is preferred.

This person will also exhibit proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations, communicative and sales skills; proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Web based applications; a thorough knowledge of current insurance and securities regulations; visual and auditory skills as well as a valid drivers license.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. (Range may be adjusted for applicants with significant experience.)
