POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the guidance of the Cardiology Coordinator, the Cardiology Technician will perform EKG’s and Holter Monitor hookups. Works collaboratively with physicians and Cardiology Coordinator to assure accurate test results.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

Minimum :

High School or equivalent education

Preferred :

Certified Cardiology Technician

LICENSE:

PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:

Minimum:

BLS required through the RQI system during clinical orientation

Arrhythmia course completion within six months

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Preferred :

EKG experience, Arrhythmia recognition experience

SKILLS:

Minimum :

Ability to perform the technical aspects of the position.

Demonstrates ability to deal with public in a professional and courteous manner and handle confidential information with discretion.

Salary Range: $19.92 - $23.13
