Keystone Engineering is currently seeking a Project Controls Admin for an onsite position at a Geismar Area Client Facility.

Position Type: Full-time

Location: Geismar, LA

Work Environment/Physical Demands: Office/Sedentary

Travel Requirements: Minimal

Responsibilities:

  • Work Full-Time onsite at a Geismar Area Plant Facility to support a Capital Projects Team across a variety of ongoing project administration needs.

  • Provide the Capital Manager and project team with regular cost tracking of AFE budget updates and generate various reports from data extraction from SAP.

  • Interface openly with plant staff at multiple levels in administration, accounting, engineering, design/drafting, and operations & maintenance departments.

  • High level of expectations for attention to detail and accuracy to ensure reports integrity.

  • Be able to differentiate between design disciplines and terminology used in an engineering and construction environment.

  • Be able to utilize Excel and other Microsoft Office programs to update existing reports and develop custom reports for specific needs & meeting presentations.

  • Assist with providing ongoing forecasts (time & cost) and variances analysis.

  • Assist with document management and time keeping functions for maintaining capital group records.

  • Requires pleasant demeanor and good communication skills to support the team and interface with plant staff & visitors.

  • Coordinate with Project Team members on meeting needs, including assistance with conference room scheduling.

  • Learn the plant resources to network and optimize vendors for specific needs and services.

  • Adhere to plant safety protocols and policies.

    Requirements:

  • BS or AS Degree in a relevant course of study to function in project controls and/or administration.

  • 2-5 years in an engineering/technical or construction setting, preferably from industrial plants.

  • Strong skills and abilities with using and developing spreadsheet applications

  • Background with SAP helpful.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Self-motivated, organized, and solution advocate.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
