ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF JOB COACH: This list of \'duties\' is not meant to be an exhaustive list of all \'duties\' a JOB COACH is responsible to complete. It is merely an outline of the areas of responsibilities and duties. The JOB COACH will insure the delivery of supports and services for people with developmental disabilities receiving support from NW Community Alliance in Integrated Employment settings. The JOB COACH provides support with maintaining employment in the community. Be certified with the state for Job Coaching. Perform job analysis. The JOB COACH will provide on going on site support and training for supported persons. The JOB COACH will meet all criteria and carry out all duties as defined in the core competencies developed by the state for this position. The JOB COACH will insure compliance with all federal, state, and administrative rules as well as have a firm understanding of the Oregon Administrative Rules, Union contract, Bureau of Labor and Industries rules, as well as state and federal rules as they apply to this industry. Specific Responsibilities include but are not limited tothe following. Other duties may be assigned from time to time by the Employment Specialist. Requirements: * Organization, time management and analysis skills * Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work within existing systems for tracking information. * Must be detail oriented with regards to paperwork and have a full understanding of ISP\'s, Job coaching Core competencies, the Discovery process, person centered plans, behavior supports, safety plans, and other systems for the delivery of services and supports for people with developmental disabilities; * Able read, understand and interpret rules and regulations (including organization policies/procedures as well as Oregon Administrative Rules); * Able to write reports. * Able to meet deadlines, respond to the requests and requirements of upper management and work as a team player to better support people with developmental disabilities.
