Job Title: Truck Mechanic

Job Description

We are currently seeking Truck Equipment Installers to join our team. Our company manufactures and installs various parts typically seen on service trucks, such as tool boxes and racks. If you are looking for an opportunity to be trained and developed into a well-rounded mechanic, welder, or fabricator, this is the place for you! Ideal candidates are individuals who work on cars in their spare time and are looking to make a career out of it.

Responsibilities

• Install service bodies, platforms, dumps, van packages, hoists, cranes, and PTOs according to blueprints and electrical diagrams.

Essential Skills

• 2 – 3 years of Automotive Mechanic and Mechanical Assembly experience

• Experience with blueprint specifications and reading and interpreting electrical wire diagrams

• Proficiency in using various hand and power tools

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in MIG welding is a plus (training will be provided if necessary)

• High School Diploma or GED

• Mechanical inclination

Work Environment

Our facility operates primarily during 1st shift hours, typically from 7:30am to 4:30pm, with occasional 10-hour shifts and some Saturdays. The shop doors are always open, resulting in hot conditions during the summer and cold conditions in the winter. We are an industry leader in manufacturing and installing truck equipment, with a long-standing history and continued growth in the industry.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garner, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
