Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Garland, TX

Shift: Monday to Friday, 1:30 PM - 9:30 PM

Pay Rate: $17.35 per hour

Job Summary:

Adecco is currently hiring a Forklift Operator for a 2nd shift position in Garland. The primary responsibility of the forklift operator is to operate industrial trucks or machinery within a warehouse, storage yard, factory, or construction site. This role involves the safe transportation of product loads to ensure timely delivery throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect product loads for accuracy and safely move them around the warehouse or facility.

• Operate forklift and other lifting devices to transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas.

• Utilize levers and controls to load, unload, transport, and stack materials using forklifts and hoists.

• Load and unload materials from pallets, skids, and boxes, securing them for transport to designated areas.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong verbal communication skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to work well as part of a team and solve problems effectively.

• Basic knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Forklift operator’s license required.

• 0-2 years of manufacturing or warehouse experience.

Additional Information:

• Stand-up reach truck experience required.

• Waterproof steel-toe shoes are required for safety.

• Occasional weekend work may be necessary.
