Description

Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting a strong Accounting Manager to support our manufacturing client on a long-term engagement (6+ months) based in Gardena. This role will report directly to the plant controller and will be primarily responsible for a multitude of accounting activities, including reviewing journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, oversight of AP & AR), and managing inventory accounting. The right consultant for this role will have a strong understanding of GAAP and working experience with inventory and SOX compliance.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of GAAP and inventory accounting

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, queries, large data sets 60k rows, etc.)

• Experience with Syteline or a similarly sized ERP

• Prior experience working for a public company strongly preferred

• Critical thinking with an ability to mitigate risk for the business while providing solutions

• Ability to manage a team

• Highly organized and able to juggle several time-sensitive projects simultaneously
