Description

We are looking for a diligent Logistics Clerk to work First Shift (4:00am-1:00pm) in Gardena, California. This role focuses on logistics, with a particular emphasis on Distribution, Air & Ocean CFS, and Trans-load/Cross-dock services. The successful candidate will be responsible for utilizing various platforms for track and trace, distribution, and booking, while maintaining excellent customer service. This job offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Familiarize with and manage Distribution, Air & Ocean CFS, and Trans-load/Cross-dock services

• Utilize various platforms such as track and trace, distribution, booking, SharePoint, and related platforms effectively

• Maintain high standards of customer service and multitask between emails, phone calls, drivers and other tasks

• Generate and manage reports, record keeping, and filing

• Ensure compliance with company's policies and procedures

• Use skills in IBM AS/400, Management System, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, About Time, Cargo, Customer Service, and Data Entry for deliveries and other relevant tasks.

Requirements • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a logistics clerk role or similar position

• Proficient in using IBM AS/400, Management System, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, About Time, and Cargo

• Strong customer service skills and experience in handling customer queries and complaints

• Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy

• Proven experience in managing deliveries, ensuring timely and correct dispatch and receipt of goods

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

• Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes is a plus

• Ability to work well in a team and independently

• Must have a proactive approach to problem-solving.
