Responsibilities You will formulate budget and cost estimates to support plans, programs, and activities, review and evaluate budget requests, control, and reporting of obligations and expenditures. You will provide information about, and interpret standard organizational budgetary, accounting, or financial administrative procedures, practices, and regulations. You will perform specialized work involving managerial or administrative work in connection with accounting systems; analytical, forecasting, and interpretive functions. You will track and control of funds for special programs; analytical or program work pertaining to payroll, cash control, or benefit systems. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Formulating budget and cost estimates to support plans, programs, and activities; reviewing and evaluating budget requests, control, and reporting of obligations and expenditures; ability to use software (Microsoft programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word); knowledge of Financial Management Evaluation and Assessment (FMEA) and Managers Internal Control Program (MCIP) AND Research, compile, analyze, and summarize required data for budget forecasts.
