Sodexo has an opportunity for an experienced human resources professional to join the team as a Human Resources Manager 3 at UTMB located in Galveston, TX .

The HR Manager will support about 600 food service and environmental services (EVS) managers, supervisors, and frontline employees across 3 locations. This role will manage talent management, compensation and benefits, training and development, and compliance with a focus on initiatives to drive retention and employee engagement.

The successful candidate will:

• have an extensive background in human resources management

• understand and respect sensitive and confidential information;

• have experience managing HR/Administrative support team members;

• have excellent computer skills with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs;

• detailed oriented, flexible, and have ability to manage competing priorities and meet time demands; and/or

• have excellent organization, communication, and project management skills.

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience – 2 years in HR
