Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Grant Coordinator. The Grant Coordinator role involves working overseeing grant application processes, maintaining and organizing relevant documentation, and monitoring funded projects. This role is an integral part of our client's team, requiring a detail-oriented individual with a solid background in grant management.

Responsibilities for the Grant Coordinator position:

• Oversee the entire grant application process, ensuring all materials are collected and applications are submitted on time.

• Maintain and organize collections of documents and information related to grants, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Monitor the progress and outcomes of funded projects, taking appropriate actions when necessary.

• Identify future grant funding opportunities and prepare the team for application.

• Ensure compliance with all requirements for receiving a grant, mitigating any potential issues.

• Enter relevant data into multiple databases, maintaining the integrity of the information.

• Work closely with education teams, providing necessary support and guidance.

• Utilize Blackbaud and Microsoft Excel for various tasks related to grant management.

• Collaborate with various parties involved in the grant process, ensuring smooth operations.

• Stay updated with the latest trends in grant management and the education sector, applying new knowledge to improve processes and outcomes.

Requirements

Requirements for the Grant Coordinator position:

• Proficiency in Grant Management is essential for this role

• Knowledge of Foundation Grants, Government Grants, Federal Grants, and Private Grants is required

• Experience with Blackbaud software is a significant advantage

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary for data management and analysis tasks

• Experience in coordinating and managing multiple projects simultaneously is crucial

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required for corresponding with grant providers

• Strong organizational skills are required for managing grant documents and deadlines

• A bachelor's degree in related fields such as Business Administration or Non-profit Management is preferred

• Knowledge of grant application process and procedures is a must-have

• Familiarity with federal, state, and local grant policies and procedures is essential

• Proven ability to research and identify new grant opportunities

• Strong analytical skills to evaluate the effectiveness of grant programs.
