Description

We are in search of an Accounting Clerk to join our team in Galveston, Texas. In this role, you will handle a range of accounting tasks, primarily focusing on account reconciliation, data entry, and invoice processing. You will also play a critical role in maintaining our accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring our financial records are accurate and up-to-date.

Responsibilities:

• Handle account reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy and consistency in our financial records.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all transactions are processed efficiently.

• Process invoices, verifying details and resolving discrepancies when necessary.

• Utilize software such as Microsoft Excel and Sage 300 to manage and analyze financial data.

• Job cost accounting on projects

• Oversee payroll functions, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.

  Requirements

• Demonstrable skills in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Construction industry, project billing, and job costing experience preferred

• Knowledge and experience in Billing and Invoice Processing

• Payroll processing skills

• Experience with Sage 300 accounting software preferred

• Experience with Microsoft Excel application
