Job Title: Lead Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and hydraulic equipment and all production machinery. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical issues such as 480v, 3-phase motors, proximity switches, relays, and sensors. The technician must be capable of running wire and rewiring circuits, changing out and replacing faulty parts, and maintaining, adjusting, and/or repairing manufacturing and facility equipment. This is a 2nd shift leadership opening.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and hydraulic equipment and all production machinery.

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical issues such as 480v, 3-phase motors, proximity switches, relays, and sensors.

  • Run wire and rewire circuits.

  • Change out and replace faulty parts.

  • Maintain, adjust, and/or repair manufacturing and facility equipment.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of maintenance technicians.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in hydraulics, repair, preventive maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical systems.

  • Experience with 3-phase, 480v electrical systems.

  • Ability to read schematics and identify electrical symbols.

  • Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic machinery, troubleshooting equipment issues, changing out parts, working with circuits, and performing preventative maintenance.

  • Leadership experience in an industrial setting or military leadership experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with blow molding machinery or injection mold machinery.

  • Skills in welding, installation, press maintenance, and working with Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs.

  • Experience with robotics, Fanuc, PLC troubleshooting, electrical maintenance, motors, PLC control, industrial maintenance, and machine repair.

  • Mechatronics Certification.

  • Electrical Certifications.

  • Degree in Industrial Maintenance is a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment is a heavy stamping environment, non-climate controlled, but equipped with fans and open bay doors when needed. The role is for the 3rd shift.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gallatin, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00
