Prepares equipment and supplies. Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters. Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment. Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary. Drag Edit Delete

Required Skills Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved American Heart Association training center must be obtained within 90 days of employment, if not current upon hire. Drag Edit Delete

Required Skills Licenses: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with a thorough working knowledge of practices and experiences in a Cardiac/Vascular Cath Lab. Drag Edit Delete

Minimum Work Experience Three years Cath Lab/Special Procedures experience - Required Must be able to perform all vascular/cardiac procedures involving the operation of imaging equipment including assisting the physician during the actual catheterization procedure.
