Job Title: Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Job Description

This position will be in Gaithersburg. The Additive Technician - 3D printing is responsible for the daily operation of Additive Manufacturing machines, post-processing of 3D built parts, and shop maintenance/cleanliness. The technician must have a drive to excel in fast-paced environments with an attention to detail mindset. Responsibilities include the operation of Additive Manufacturing machines (EOS SLS, Stratasys Fortus 450, Stratasys 900, PostPro3D Vapor Smoother, Prusa i3Mk3s+ desktop FDM, and Stratasys Connex machines), powder handling, support removal, post-processing tasks such as drilling and tapping holes, installing inserts and helicoils, dyeing, sanding, and bagging and tagging parts. Additionally, the role requires shop maintenance and cleaning, as well as regular use of ERP systems.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

Work Environment

1st Shift: 7:30am to 4pm, M-F; 2nd Shift: 7:30pm to 4am, M-F. 1 opening with flexibility on the preferred shift. Dress code includes jeans, shorts, plain shirt, and closed-toed shoes.
