ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Detailed sanitation and up-keep of the facility, ensuring that all processing equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized to established standards to prepare for client to process their product Wear employer-specified PPE (gloves, face shield, eye goggles, aprons, boots, safety glasses, etc.) Frequently lift hoses, equipment and chemical containers, etc. Ensures compliance with all food safety policies and procedures Represents Aramark Facility Services on daily basis to the customer's employees and key decision makers Removal of all trash and product/soil from plant; cleaning of floors, walls, ceilings Follow all Sanitation Equipment tool and equipment guidelines REQUIRED COMPETENCIES Must be knowledgeable in GMPs, Allergens, HAACP, etc. Knowledge of chemical usage, proportions and regulations Must be able to work flexible hours; this may include nights and/or weekends at times Willing to learn and adhere to proper procedures in safety when working with moving machinery Willing to accept change and work in a team-based environment Must be able to follow instruction Follow all Aramark and Client policies such as safety, labor, GMPs, etc. PREFERRED SKILLS Required to lift up to 50 lbs (garbage removal) and/or up to 70 lbs (if using power hoses) Knowledge of food manufacturing/production Knowledge of sanitation equipment and tools QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Ideal candidates will possess a high school diploma as well as technical knowledge of maintenance equipment, cleaning procedures, and POM activities Experience with food production and sanitation preferred Experience working in team environment around food processing equipment

Qualifications/Certifications

Previous custodial experience preferred. Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lb. Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals. Maintains friendly, efficient, positive guest service demeanor towards guests, clients and co-workers. Adaptable to guests needs.
