ManpowerGroup System Integration Engineer in Gaffney, South Carolina
Our client, a large vehicle manufacturer , is seeking a System Integration Engineer to join their team. This position requires a strong technical background and experience in software development, data engineering, and data analytics in scientific or engineering fields. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a mix of core technical skills and a deep understanding of physical data interpretation, aligning successfully within Daimler’s innovative environment.
Job Title : System Integration Engineer
Location : Gaffney, South Carolina
Pay Range : $32-$36/hour
What’s the Job?
Analyze and interpret engineering and scientific data, focusing on physical data for automotive testing and validation.
Develop Python software solutions to support data analysis and preprocessing tasks.
Utilize data visualization and descriptive statistics techniques to derive insights.
Maintain and manage data pipelines, including Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes.
Collaborate on cloud-based data solutions using AWS, with transferrable skills in Azure and Google Cloud.
Communicate data through the CAN communication protocol and J1939 CAN standard for automotive testing.
Use Git and GitHub for version control and code collaboration with engineering teams.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot and optimize data handling solutions.
What’s Needed?
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Physics.
At least one year of experience in software development, data science, or data engineering, preferably in an engineering or scientific context.
Core skills in college-level physics, Python development, data analysis, and automotive testing.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), CAN communication protocol, and Git/GitHub.
Optional skills in ETL pipelines, SQL, relational database management, and telematics will be advantageous.
