We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist with a private equity firm. Located in Ft. Worth, Texas, you will be part of a dynamic team where your skills in Accounting Software Systems, Microsoft Excel and Accounts Payable will be put to use. You will be tasked with handling full-cycle accounts payable processing, vendor onboarding, and vendor reconciliations in a high volume, complex context.

Responsibilities:

• Process full-cycle accounts payable efficiently

• Onboard vendors, ensuring all necessary information is obtained and accurately recorded

• Perform vendor reconciliations to ensure accuracy of records

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for complex data entry tasks and reporting

• Handle high volume check processing and payment processing tasks

• Correct any discrepancies in invoices and payments

• Maintain accurate records of all accounting functions

• Utilize accounting software systems for efficient data management

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take necessary actions for delinquent payments

• Resolve customer credit inquiries and issues efficiently and professionally.

Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Ability to handle Check Processing efficiently

• Proficient in Data Entry tasks

• Ability to identify and resolve Discrepancies

• Experience in Payment Processing

• Familiarity with Coding Invoices

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize work under tight deadlines

• Familiarity with investment management or financial services industry is a plus

• Ethical conduct and understanding of confidentiality rules

• Willingness to continue learning and improving accounting skills.
