Robert Half Help Desk Analyst I in Ft. Wayne, Indiana

Description

We are extending an opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst I in our manufacturing facility located in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. As a part of our team, you will be the initial point of contact for technical queries from our customers. You will be dedicated to troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, maintaining our inventory tracking systems, and contributing to the overall enhancement of our user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary contact for technical assistance via various modes of communication including phone, email, and ticketing applications

• Troubleshoot and repair all PC-based software and hardware, including peripherals such as scanners and printers

• Address minor networking problems, escalating to appropriate parties when necessary, and diligently track all tasks until resolution

• Maintain and update system documentation and inventory through the application of tracking systems

• Utilize diagnostic techniques and engage in dialogue with customers to determine the best solution for their issues

• Escalate unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel

• Provide customers with accurate information on IT products and services

• Document all customer issues, problems, and their resolution in logs

• Convey customer feedback or suggestions to the appropriate internal team for consideration

• Enhance user adoption and reduce work orders by upgrading existing procedures or identifying new ones

• Comply with all company standards, policies, and procedures regarding customer care and safety

• Perform additional duties that may be assigned by management related to accounting and finance document transfer and storage.

Requirements

• Familiarity with Cisco Technologies, including but not limited to network management and security protocols.

• Working knowledge of Citrix Technologies, with the ability to manage and resolve related issues.

• Proficient understanding of Mac Computers, including software installation, configuration and troubleshooting.

• Strong command of Microsoft products, including Office Suite, Windows OS and server technologies.

• Experience with Active Directory, including user management, group policies and access controls.

• Ability to handle Apple Devices, including setup, troubleshooting and software updates.

• Solid understanding of Computer Hardware, with the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues.

• Experience in Configuration Management, including maintaining system security and performance optimization.

• Demonstrated ability in Deployments, including planning, scheduling and executing software deployments.

• Knowledge of Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS), with the ability to manage and troubleshoot certificate services.
