Position Specific Description

Everyday our employees help us deliver safe, affordable, and reliable service to our more than 4.9 million customers. They are helping shape our company and how our customers see us.

This position will report to the Plant Manager and be based at Fort Myers Plant located in Fort Myers ,FL.

Operations and I&C experience preferred. Operations fundamentals with experience and troubleshooting skillset for Ovation & Mark VI control systems. This position will troubleshoot and analyze equipment performance deviations while ensuring the sites’ I&C equipment is always in excellent operational condition and available for use.

  • Manages associated capital and O&M budgets

  • Responsible for work management backlog

  • Troubleshoot and analyze equipment performance deviations

  • Ensure site electrical equipment is in excellent operational condition and available for use at all times

Job Overview

Employees in this role lead a team of production and maintenance technicians and contractors in plant maintenance activities. Individuals in this position lead internal and external resources to Deliver Certainty, executing plant maintenance to achieve short and long term site goals and objectives in safety, environmental, compliance, reliability, availability and cost management.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Focuses on optimizing site maintenance

• Develops technicians’ skills and knowledge

• Standardizes processes, procedures, and techniques to ensure repeatability

• Assumes direct accountability for internal employee development and performance management

• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience

  • Experience: 5+ years

  • High School Grad / GED

  • Supervisor/Management Experience: 2+ years
