Description We are offering a contract for a Project Estimator II position in Ft Lauderdale, Florida. This role is pivotal in the construction industry, where you will be tasked with developing cost quantifications and creating comprehensive capital expenditure (CapEx) models for project evaluation. Your role will also involve providing technical guidance, understanding market pricing, and considering staffing during the estimation process.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and prepare capital cost estimates for various projects.

• Review project designs and specifications to ensure cost-effectiveness, and propose alternatives when necessary.

• Collaborate with different departments to ensure project objectives are understood and resources are efficiently utilized.

• Stay updated with technology advancements and industry trends to ensure capital estimates align with current market conditions.

• Establish, develop and implement metrics for cost and construction estimate checks.

• Provide technical guidance during the estimation process.

• Take into consideration staffing needs during the estimation process.

• Ensure understanding of market conditions and pricing during the estimation process.

• Perform other duties related to the Project Estimator II role as needed. Requirements • Proficiency in Procedures and Check Processing

• Experience with Onboarding and Metric Reporting

• Knowledge of Staffing processes within the Construction industry

• Understanding of Capital Management principles

• Ability to work with Suppliers and understand Specification requirements

• Familiarity with Commission Functions and Onsite work protocols

• Competence in managing Expense Account and Business Unit operations

• Experience in creating and implementing Validation Plans

• Knowledge of Cybersecurity measures

• Ability to analyze Market Conditions and CapEx

• Proficiency in Cost Estimate and providing Technical Guidance

• Understanding of Market Pricing strategies

• Familiarity with NIS and Nerc standards
