POSITION SUMMARY :

Job Title: HRIS Director

FLSA Status: Exempt

Type: Full-time

Department: Human Resources

Reports To: SVP, Human Resources

The HRIS Director is responsible for leading the strategic direction, implementation, and management of the organization's HRIS systems. This role involves ensuring that the HRIS supports the needs of the HR department and the broader organization, optimizing the use of technology to streamline HR processes, improve data management, and enhance employee experience. This position reports to the SVP, HR.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Collaborative Business Partner

  • Act as a strategic business partner between departments

  • Focuses on problem solving with key stakeholder to accomplish initiatives within ScribeAmerica

    Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute the HRIS strategy in alignment with the organization's goals.

  • Lead the selection, implementation, and maintenance of HRIS platforms.

  • Ensure the HRIS supports HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, performance management, and compliance.

    System Management

  • Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and upgrades of HRIS systems.

  • Ensure data integrity, security, and privacy compliance.

  • Manage system integrations with other business applications and third-party vendors.

    Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to optimize HR processes through technology.

  • Implement best practices for HR data management and reporting.

  • Lead projects to automate and improve HR workflows.

    Data Analytics and Reporting

  • Develop and maintain HR dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making.

  • Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to HR leadership and business partners.

  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting for compliance and regulatory requirements.

    Team Leadership and Development

  • Manage and mentor the HRIS team, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.

  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.

  • Coordinate with HR, IT, and other departments to ensure seamless HRIS operations.

    Vendor Management

  • Manage relationships with HRIS vendors and service providers.

  • Negotiate contracts and service-level agreements.

  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure service delivery meets organizational standards.

Required Education and Experience

Systems

  • Knowledge of the below systems is preferred

    Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, HRIP) is preferred.

    Experience

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in HRIS management or a related field, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.

    Technical Skills

  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM), HR analytics tools, and project management software.

    Leadership Skills

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and drive organizational change.

    Analytical Skills

  • Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

    Communication Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present to senior leadership and stakeholders.

    Project Management

  • Experience in managing large-scale HRIS implementations and upgrades.

    Technical Capability

  • Strategic thinking and autonomy, exceptional attention to detail, time management and organization, communication proficiency, leadership and teamwork.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position working remote. As an exempt employee, he or she must be available (when needed) to work outside of normal business hours at the request of the SVP, Human Resources.

Compensation range: Our compensation range for this position is $125k-$130k, depending on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.

Travel

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
