Job Description: Accounts Receivable Specialist (Bilingual - English/Spanish)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a bilingual (English/Spanish) Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage AR functions, including cash receipts, account reconciliation, and customer communication. The ideal candidate will have experience in AR, be proficient in ERP accounting software and Excel, and have strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Cash Receipts & Deposits: Post, deposit, and apply checks/wires across multiple branches.

Reporting: Prepare ad hoc reports and monthly reporting for the Controller.

ERP & Excel: Use ERP accounting software and Excel for daily tasks.

Billing & Pricing: Assist with billing, updating price lists, and invoicing.

Collections & Allocations: Follow up on collections, allocate payments, and meet deadlines.

Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts and prepare bank deposits.

Customer Management: Maintain AR customer files and resolve queries.

Lien Releases & Statements: Assist with lien releases and sworn statements.

Aging Reports & Commencements: Print aging reports and request notices of commencement.

Qualifications:

Language Skills: Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.

Experience: AR experience, preferably in construction services.

Technical Skills: Proficient in ERP accounting software and Excel.

Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills.

Communication: Excellent in both English and Spanish.

Problem-Solving: Able to resolve discrepancies and inquiries promptly.

Requirements • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing industry

• Proficiency in account reconciliation and accounts receivable (AR)

• Experience in billing, cash applications, and cash collections

• Familiarity with commercial collections

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP

• Knowledge of liens and their application in the accounts receivable process

• Strong attention to detail with high levels of accuracy

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• A professional demeanor and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
