HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Sunstates Security is seeking an experienced Safety Specialist in Frisco, TX. The Safety Specialist will be responsible for assisting safety & security operations, life safety response, safety training, event management, crisis response, managing life safety equipment and BAU safety operations. The Safety Specialist will provide administrative support for safety related tasks as assigned by the Safety Manager.

This position offers a standard work week schedule with a starting pay range of $30.00 - $35.00/hr - DOE.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Provide life safety emergency response procedural development and policy writing at the assigned office.

  • Serve as local safety specialist for onsite emergencies i.e., building evacuations, medical emergency response, shelter-in-place procedures, severe weather or manmade crises.

  • Manage life safety systems and equipment such as AED’s, basic first aid equipment, fire extinguishers, wheelchairs, and intercom systems that may be installed at assigned offices.

  • Provide safety guidance and recommendations to ensure a safe environment for all personnel [employees, contractors, visitors and guests].

  • Ensure effective prompt reporting for both incidents and observations to provide meaningful real time recommendations to resolve identified safety risks.

  • Assist with assigned safety-related administrative tasks i.e., standard operating procedures and policy review, scheduling training, maintaining training records.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Must have operational knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and Sharepoint.

  • Must be CPR & AED certified.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

A Security Professional may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Professional must read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives. Sun123
