RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Data Acquisition : Ensure precise sample preparation, equipment calibration, and adherence to standard procedures to produce reliable data for engineers and customers.
Data Reporting : Develop clear and organized documentation that details testing methods, instrument settings, and data analysis, enabling stakeholders to draw accurate conclusions and make informed recommendations.
Product Problem Solving : Implement a systematic approach to solving product issues, focusing on protecting the customer, identifying root causes, and developing robust, data-driven solutions to prevent recurrence.
Product Software Design and Construction : Apply industry best practices and robust software engineering principles to construct and verify product software, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
Collaboration : Build strong partnerships and work collaboratively with team members and other departments to achieve shared goals.
Effective Communication : Develop and deliver clear, multi-mode communications tailored to the unique needs of different audiences, ensuring understanding and alignment.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma, certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience in an appropriate STEM field is required.
Regionally applicable certification or two year Associates Degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field of study may be required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Prefer significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Additional Information:
Require system and general knowledge of Power Systems Controls
Require ability to troubleshoot to component level the Power Systems Controls current, past, and capability to learn future modules as well.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills such that has the ability to teach troubleshooting techniques
Create training modules for the various Power Systems Controllers we use.
Be the first point of escalation for the other technicians when technical issues arise
Be the first point of contact with the Columbus Service team for new and emerging technical issues
Troubleshoot diagnostic equipment issues that arise
