Trinity Health Referral Specialist, SAMF Specialty Support, Full Time in Fresno, California

Description:

Reporting to the Practice Manager, this position assists with the overall coordination of primary care referrals, as well as provider relations. The incumbent obtains authorizations, tracks referrals, verifies insurance information, and coordinators care for patients.

Pay Range: $21.00 - 27.25

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Some college is preferred.

  2. Two (2) years of experience as a referral specialist in a medical office is required.

  3. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.

  4. Effective problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills are required.

  5. Demonstrated ability to show initiative and decision-making skills is required.

  6. Ability to communicate effectively both written and oral is required.

  7. Ability to operate office equipment, organize and manage workload with strong typing skills is required.

  8. Ability to handle matters with strict confidentiality is required.

  9. Ability to demonstrate outstanding performance in at team environment while providing a strong customer service focus is a must.
