MSHS Teacher Assistant

Location: 1499 North River Road, Fremont, OH 43420

Schedule: Monday - Friday (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)

Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week, 30 weeks per year

Employment Type: Seasonal Full-Time

Pay Rate: $19.41 per hour (Associate's Degree or CDA) | $17.82 (HS Diploma or GED)

*Summary: * Assist teachers with the daily operations of the MSHS program in compliance with all policies, procedures, licensing, and funding requirements.

Education:

Required Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. or High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED).

According to the Head Start for School Readiness Act of 2007 employees in this position must have a child development associate (CDA) credential, be enrolled in a CDA credential program that will be completed within 2 years or have an associate or baccalaureate degree. 

Experience:

Up to one-year experience in early childhood development and up to one-year experience with word processing and internet software.  Ability to read, write and speak Spanish is preferred.

Initial and periodic physical exams required.

Must submit to initial and/or periodic state and/or federal criminal checks.
