Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

As a Machine Operator, you will utilize your mechanical abilities to keep machines running efficiently. Your main responsibilities will include operating up to three machines simultaneously, making adjustments, setting up, and preparing molds for production. You will also be involved in setups, changeovers, startups, shutdowns, and some tooling changes. A key part of your role will be to inspect produced parts to ensure they are free from damage, maintaining the highest standards of quality in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

This role includes openings for 2nd and 3rd shifts, encompassing hours from 2 PM to 10:30 PM and 10:30 PM to 7 AM. You will be employed in a large manufacturing setting with over 400 staff members. The environment can be hot, and specific personal protective equipment is required but provided. Some overtime is typically available, averaging around 45 hours per week. Comprehensive training for the first 12 weeks on the first shift will be provided before transitioning to the designated shift. This is a direct placement role in a non-union setting.
