ManpowerGroup Maintenance Technician in Fremont, California

Our client, a leader in autonomous mobility, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Equipment and Maintenance Department supporting the vehicle assembly team. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Fremont, CA

Pay: $35-38/h + Benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures and standards.

  • Perform or manage maintenance on vehicle assembly equipment.

  • Respond to equipment alarms, downtime events, and production-related support requests.

  • Conduct root cause analysis on equipment and quality-related issues.

  • Train production staff on equipment best practices and safety procedures.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience with industrial automation, automotive/aerospace assembly equipment, or similar.

  • Strong electrical (12VDC to 480VAC) and mechanical knowledge.

  • Basic understanding of robotics, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and DC tooling.

  • Proficient with computers and willing to learn 3D modeling software.

  • Ability to read and interpret 2D/3D prints and schematics.
