Are you an experienced Litigation Paralegal looking for your next challenge? A reputable and growing law firm in Fremont, CA, is seeking a skilled and highly detail-oriented professional to join their dynamic legal team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a minimum of three years of law firm litigation experience, this might be the perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document Drafting: Prepare, edit, and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, correspondence, and settlement agreements with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Discovery & Document Review: Assist with all phases of discovery, including gathering, organizing, reviewing, and producing documents. Manage discovery requests and responses, including interrogatories, requests for production of documents, and requests for admissions.

  • E-filing Expertise: Handle state and federal court e-filing requirements proficiently, ensuring timely and error-free submissions.

  • Case Management: Maintain case files and calendars, monitor deadlines, and support attorneys in meeting key case milestones.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with attorneys, clients, and other team members to coordinate and execute litigation strategies.

    Requirements

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of litigation experience in a law firm setting.

  • Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in e-filing platforms for both California state and federal courts.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong understanding of the litigation process, including document review and discovery procedures.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.

  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with legal software solutions, document management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Education: Paralegal Certificate or equivalent education/certifications.
