Position Summary:

Under limited supervision, but following established policies and procedures, provides operational and administrative services for lenders. Prepares final loan documents and processes loan files after closing to ensure documents are accurate and legally binding. Requires a thorough knowledge of lending function in order to gather data, prepare documents and reports and complete special projects as assigned.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Loan Documentation
    1. Prepare accurate loan documents for a variety of Commercial loans, ensuring all required pre-documentation, including verification of borrower identity, title work, appraisals and flood determinations has been completed, collateral support is in place, and proper approval has been granted.
    2. Process all new and renewed loans
      1. Perform post-closing loan review, ensuring all required documents are properly signed, accurate and executable.
      2. Process loan documents and prepare tickets or wire transfers.
      3. Pay fees, record/release mortgages, file UCCs, and place auto title liens as needed.
      4. Upload and maintenance loans on the Jack Henry system and perform quality control on loans uploaded by others in the department.
  2. Participations
    1. Follow all loan participation procedures
      1. Process participation forms for new and revised loans.
      2. Verification of accuracy of dealer trials.
  3. Document Imaging
    1. Scan documents to the appropriate areas in the document imaging system.
    2. Quality control the scanning of others in the department.
    3. Manage information sharing of loan documents necessary for participating Foresight banks.
  4. Comply with the banks Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) rules and regulations, all applicable state and federal laws and State Bank policies.
  5. Monitor the paid loan report and release collateral, as required.
  6. Denial Letters
    1. Prepare denial letters, ensuring second review of documentation.
