Job Title: Test Technician

Job Description

Responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electronic equipment in accordance with company standards. Maintain backshop organization for efficient production in accordance with company policies and procedures. Actively participate in AS:9100 implementation and process improvements. Represent the company in a professional manner at all times. Other duties as required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and clearly document the results of hardware inspections, including Mechanical Inspection, Point to Point Wiring Inspection, Final Electrical Inspection, and Final Inspection.

  • Verify mechanical components are properly assembled and ensure there are no air flow obstructions.

  • Conduct point to point wiring inspections during the buildup of a system.

  • Confirm connectors are tightened, cables are properly fastened, and all items in the notes section are completed during Final Electrical Inspection.

  • Ensure no scratches exist on the surface, perform a shake test to confirm everything is securely fastened, and verify all handles and feet are fastened during the Final Inspection.

Work Environment

The position is based in a manufacturing environment. Work hours are 8 hours a day between 7:30 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
