What You'll Be Doing

  • Schedule and direct the mechanics on a day-to-day basis, prioritize maintenance work and assign responsibilities for mechanics

  • Manage the budget and strategy for the various heavy equipment and maintenance functions housed at 2nd Street, Plymouth truck shop and Frazer shop

  • Oversee the dispatching and schedules for lowboys, dump trucks, etc.

  • Oversee and ensure compliance with Motive GPS tracking, DOT and CDL regulations for all equipment and personnel.

  • Ensure shops inventory is maintained and necessary parts are ordered for maintenance as well as attain quotes and make decisions on which vendor/part we order

What Are We Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 5 years of heavy equipment mechanic and shop management experience

  • Effective written, verbal, telephone communication skills and proficient in MS Windows applications

Work Environment

  • This position is primarily stationed in an office environment; however, the individual will travel between sites that require PPE.
