JOB REQUIREMENTS: Volt is immediately hiring for Quality Technicians in Franklin, WI. Join the team at this high-speed packaging equipment manufacturer for the beverage industry. 2nd shift, flexible start times Typically 2nd shift is 12:00 PM to 8 PM As a Quality Technician you will: * Inspect handling parts and complex assemblies using drawings and specifications to validate conformance to established guidelines, standards and customer requirements. * Investigate quality issues and assist in researching and disposition of product. * Compile clear and concise quality notifications. * Communicate results for requesting effective corrective action to bring resolution to attain high quality of end product economically and efficiently. * Assist with customer returns in finding root cause and help determining corrective action. * Recommend improvements to processes/procedures to enhance efficiency of workflow and quality of output. * Execute multiple transactions within the SAP Enterprise System. This is a full time opportunity. The ideal candidate will have the following: * 2+ years\' experience within the Quality department in machine shop environment. * Ability to read blueprint and schematic drawings, understand GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and proficient math skills. * Knowledge of the metric system and experience in using measuring instruments (e.g. go/no-go gages, calipers, micrometers, indicators, optical comparator, height stand). * Knowledge of gage lab processes and quality audit procedures. * Good interpersonal and communication skills. * Must be self-directed to research, investigate, analyze and document information to resolve problems. * Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
