What You Will Do:
The Manufacturing Process Engineer plays a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing procedures and equipment. One key component of the position will be to measure and establish labor standards, review and adjust the standards used in engineering, and project estimate planning to improve productivity and efficiency.
Develop process standards for materials release to Data Warehouse and Plex. Use of time studies via conventional stopwatch techniques or pre-determined time from other internal product lines.
Ensure data accuracy of Data Warehouse and Plex in support of the Design Engineering functions.
Cost Analysis and Decision Support:
Review labor, material, and production costs.
Assist management in decision-making by providing data and statistics on production requirements
Workflow Analysis and Optimization
Analyze and plan workflow, equipment placement, and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiency
Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair services, ensuring compliance with manufacturer's procedures.
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering; mechanical engineering preferred.
At least three to five years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or related roles.
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing initiatives with an emphasis in continuous improvement.
Demonstrated ability to maintain detail-oriented focus while balancing several simultaneous duties and initiatives.
Must be able to independently manage workload and continuously promote a reduced stress environment.
