Description
We are offering an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in Human Resources department in Franklin, Virginia, United States. In this role, you will be playing a vital role in our human resources and administrative functions, handling tasks ranging from recruitment assistance to general office duties.
Responsibilities:
• Contributing to the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
• Overseeing the maintenance of employee records, ensuring they are up to date and adhere to company policies and regulations.
• Assisting in the creation and distribution of HR-related communications, including policy updates and employee handbooks.
• Supporting the organization of employee training sessions, workshops, and other HR initiatives.
• Providing prompt responses to incoming HR inquiries and offering support to employees regarding policies and procedures.
• Coordinating HR schedules, meetings, and events in a timely and efficient manner.
• Processing employee benefits and payroll along with other administrative tasks as required.
• Actively supporting employee engagement initiatives to maintain a positive workplace environment.
• Executing general office duties, including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
• Utilizing Microsoft Office suite for tasks such as email correspondence, inbound and outbound calls, scheduling appointments, and data entry.
Requirements • Ability to efficiently answer inbound calls, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
• Proven experience in providing exceptional customer service.
• Proficiency in data entry, demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong skills in email correspondence, ensuring detail oriented and timely communication.
• Experience in managing both inbound and outbound calls.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook for email management and meeting scheduling.
• Capability to create and modify presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in creating, editing, and formatting documents in Microsoft Word.
