How You’ll Make an Impact

The Senior Account Executive (Sr. AE) works with the Account Team to manage high-level projects for our direct mail and digital business. In this role, the Sr. AE is responsible for proper and timely execution of all assigned work.

What You’ll Achieve

  • Serve as the primary client service representative with overall responsibility for the excellence of deliverables to the client

  • Maintain key account plans for automotive accounts and be responsible for ensuring that projects are executed in accordance with the client’s expectations and high standards of the agency.

  • Develop and maintain thorough understanding of the clients’ end use markets and their important customers.

  • Think strategically and explore the business needs of dealer and corporate clients in order to develop and execute profitable marketing campaigns.

  • Provide direction to the internal teams, coordinate assignments, monitor progress, and conceptualize new promotional ideas with your colleagues.

  • Implement and manage the effective delivery of key customer programs for direct mail and e-mail including: communication strategies, associate training, program execution, and billing.

  • Manage and delegate business to ensure we meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Establish and build strong working relationships with business leaders and team members to ensure the successful delivery of services.

  • Investigate, track and resolve client concerns; identify trends and implement solutions.

  • Assist the Outside Sales Managers in growing our core business within our existing client base.

  • Ensure optimal client feedback to Account Leaders, Sales Management or other departments with regard to: project requirements, enhancements, and success.

  • Coordinate the account strategies and actions of all business units for our key accounts.

  • Help manage the overall client satisfaction and profitability of assigned accounts.

  • Build and maintain program budgets

  • Execute billing and accounting procedures for assigned projects

  • Manage rapid-turnaround projects (7-10 business days)

Who You Are

  • What You’ll Bring With you:

  • Direct mail marketing or similar experience required

  • Ability to work autonomously and in a fast-paced environment

  • PC proficient, including familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite specifically proficient in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

  • Attention to detail, follow-through and ability to multi-task

  • Ability to solve practical problems, applying analytical reasoning

  • Ability to work well under pressure

  • Able to solve complex problems and issues

  • Able to recognize and manage new business opportunities

  • Why you might stand out from other talent:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Digital Marketing experience a plus

  • Automotive Marketing experience a plus
