Description

We are offering a contract opportunity to cover for a leave of absense for an Accounts Payable Specialist in the Franklin/Brentwood TN area. This role is100 percent onsite and working in a capital equipment rental business. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for full cycle accounts payable including processing 50-100 invoices daily, vendor statement reconciliation and a 3-way match. This role requires a proactive individual with a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities:

• Processing between 50-100 invoices on a daily basis accurately and efficiently

• Reconciliation of vendor statements

• Proactively addressing and resolving customer inquiries and issues

•Flexible work hours which can range from 7-4; 8-5; 9-6

• Coding invoices

• Ensuring accuracy in invoice coding

Requirements

• Must possess at least 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar position

• Proficiency in coding invoices is required

• Proficient knowledge in using MS Excel is essential

• Experience in invoice coding is mandatory

• Must have strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required

• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information

• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

• Must have a strong work ethic and a high level of integrity

• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and demanding environment

• Familiarity in working with large ERP's(IE: Oracle, JD Edwards, SAP) would be considered a plus.
