This position is for 2nd shift; Monday-Friday 3:00pm - 11:30pm

As a Production Lead at our Vital Proteins facility, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing of our products. You’ll supervise and lead a team on our production line, ensuring workflow efficiency and organization.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee and manage completion of batch production records.

  • Alert management of equipment or material issues.

  • Contribute to development of Standard Operating Procedures

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.

  • Resolve or escalate personnel problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, and identifying solutions.

  • Ensure that production floor associates are trained in and follow safety rules, SOPs, GDP’s, and cGMPs guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • Associate degree preferred

  • Physical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb, bend, etc. within a manufacturing environment.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1 – 3 years of previous production lead experience

  • Demonstrable experience within a similar role is required.

  • Manufacturing, warehousing, or food/dietary supplement industry background preferred.

SKILLS:

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to work at pace, multitask and prioritize accordingly.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team or independently.

  • Ability to read and write in English.

  • Basic mathematical skills.

  • Problem solving and conflict resolution.
