Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST - TITLE 5, Position Description Number PDT5293P01 and is part of the KY USPFO, National Guard. Responsibilities As a SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST - TITLE 5, GS-2003-9, you will review, analyze, and interprets supply directives and procedures in the Property Management Branch. Formulate and recommend operating procedures to support the logistics program pertaining to property accountability. Develop and provide data for property accountability of supported units to the Supply Management Officer, Director of Logistics, United States Property and Fiscal Officer and the Readiness Committee. Responsible for serialization program for Controlled Cryptographic Items Serialization Program, Small Arms Serialization Program, and Radiation Testing and Tracking System for the USP&FO. Serve as State Serialization Coordinator. Responsible for STAMIS Catalog Data File, State Assigned Line Item Number and non-expendable Management Control Numbers. Coordinate Department of Defense Acquisition Activity Code program for the state. Responsible for logistical support program to ensure units receive guidance and assistance to correct problems and deficiencies. Direct and provide written technical guidance involving property book procedures and functions. Analyze results of property book reconciliations. Prepare budget estimates for MTOE/TDA change considerations. Coordinate with Army Material Command, Defense Logistics Agency and National Guard Bureau program managers to effect receipt of required equipment to support readiness objectives. Act as the Total Package Fielding manager for the USP&FO. Coordinate incoming major end items to support readiness objectives. Coordinate system administration for the property management branch to include STAMIS security, software and hardware changes. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: May be required to successfully complete a trial period. Participation in direct deposit is mandatory. May be subject to furlough actions. Acceptance of a Federal position will terminate Tricare Reserve Select (TRS) eligibility. This position is located on a tobacco free facility. Must obtain and maintain a favorable adjudication of a T3 or equivalent investigation. This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position. NOTE: A retired member of the Armed Forces may not be appointed to a DOD civilian position within 180 days after retirement, without a TAG approved waiver, in accordance with DoDi 1402.01, Employment of Retired Members of the Armed Forces, dated 09 Sep 2007 and National Guard Appointment for Retired Members of the Armed Forces Memo, dated 18 Jan 2019. Qualifications SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least one (1) year experience at the next lower level in the normal line of progression through federal service (GS-07) or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that demonstrates the experience and knowledge of applying supply principles, concepts, and methodologies of inventory management or of supply program management to perform recurring assignments, operations, and/or procedures dealing with supply issues and problems. Experience with methods, techniques, and standardized automated databases to search for and analyze information, resolve questions, prepare entries for supply record systems, and provide supply information, reports, and services. Experience analyzing problems to identify significant factors, gathering pertinent data, and recognizing solutions. Experience planning and organizing work. Experience may have been gained in administrative, professional, technical, investigative, or other responsible work. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Resume must have complete dates, work schedule, and/or hours worked per week for both civilian and military employment.
