We seek Proposal Managers who will support proposal development and play a crucial role in winning new work with Federal Government clients. The ideal candidate thrives on collaboration and will work closely with other Growth team members. The incumbent will support new business and recompete opportunities, assisting in proposal efforts that align with company strategy and growth initiatives. You will leverage internal and external resources to orchestrate successful responses to opportunities, fostering a sense of teamwork and shared success.

As a proposal manager, you are responsible for:

  • Delivering compliant, compelling, and timely proposals to support winning new work and recompete opportunities with Federal Government clients.

  • Collaborating, mentoring, and leading proposal efforts in support of company strategy and growth initiatives.

  • Delivering on-time proposals by leading and supporting the full proposal development lifecycle to include schedules, and proposal plans/outlines, providing writing guidance, coordinating, and directing color reviews, and compliance matrices, and leading all proposals and calls.

  • Undertaking technical writing, market research, and marketing content development for the creation of compliant and compelling proposals that clearly and succinctly address all RFQ/RFP requirements.

  • Working collaboratively with geographically remote internal and external colleagues, partners, and customers to develop technical solutions, including BD/Capture Managers, Program Managers, and other members of Leadership.

  • Maintaining proposal libraries to include technical, staffing, past performance, and debriefs.

  • Actively participating in the establishment and continuous improvement of proposal operations to include policies, procedures, and application of best practices.

  • Establishing procedures to capture and maintain proposal feedback and quality of service content of all projects.

  • Leading all RFI and RFP/RFQ responses, including writing assignments and/or other business development activities as assigned.

  • Researchingpotential clients or businesses.

To qualify, you will have:

Proposal Manager I: 1 to 3 years

Proposal Manager II: 3 to 5 years

Proposal Manager III: 5 to 7 yearsof demonstrated experience in the development of proposal responses for professional services across the federal government, i.e., IDIQs/GWACs/BPAs and task orders within DoD and Federal/Civilian agencies.

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business, Engineering, or other related discipline.

  • Expert with MS Office products, including Teams and SharePoint.

  • Professional training/certification in Proposal Management, including proficiency and real-world application using Shipley principles and/or Association for Proposal Management Professional (APMP) certification, is a significant plus.

  • Demonstrated proficiency using Deltek GovWin is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and overall organizational skills.

Base compensation range and benefits :

  • $83,000 to $103,000 - Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location.

This full-time, remote position will report to the Director of Business Development. Preference will be given to candidates in the NCR region but open to other geographical locations for the right individual. Must be able to work flexible hours as needed, including potential nights/weekends.
