We are inviting applications for a Cost Accountant role based in Frankfort, Kentucky. This role will be instrumental in our accounting department, with emphasis on cost analysis, budget processes, and managing ERP solutions. The successful candidate will be adept at using accounting software systems and will play a key role in managing accounts payable and other accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and report on costs associated with production and inventory

• Monitor and control the budget to ensure alignment with overall business goals

• Manage ERP solutions to streamline and enhance accounting processes

• Perform accounts payable functions to ensure accurate and timely payment processing

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems for efficient data management

• Collaborate with the financial services team to manage CapEx

• Conduct cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost reductions

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting functions and industry best practices

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and operations

• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cost Accountant or in a similar role

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services

• Experience with CapEx and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is required

• Familiarity with ERP Solutions and Accounting Functions

• Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) processes

• Experience in budget processes and cost accounting

• Ability to perform cost analysis

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and legislation

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
