Role Overview:

Job Summary

The Entry-Level Salesforce Developer will work closely with the Salesforce Development team to design, develop, and implement solutions on the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in learning Salesforce technologies and must have a good understanding of programming concepts. This role involves working on customizations, developing integrations, and creating solutions that improve business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions, including custom applications, workflows, and integrations specifically in Service and Experience Cloud

• Collaborate with team members to gather and analyze business requirements.

• Develop and maintain Salesforce Apex code, Visualforce pages, flows and Lightning components.

• Participate in testing and debugging of Salesforce applications.

• Support data migrations, system integrations, and third-party applications within Salesforce.

• Provide L3 support as needed

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce functionality.

• Provide support and training to Salesforce users as needed.

• Maintain documentation of configurations, customizations, and integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Basic understanding of Salesforce concepts (certifications such as Salesforce Administrator or Platform Developer I preferred).

• Experience with programming languages such as Apex, Java, JavaScript, or similar

• Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce, including internships, projects, or coursework.

• Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning, Visualforce, Flows and Apex.

• Experience with version control tools (e.g., Github).

• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Software Engineers conduct or participate in multidisciplinary research and collaborate with design, layout and/or hardware engineers in the design, development, and utilization of productivity enhancement layout tools and design rule checkers, electronic data processing systems software. Determines computer user needs, advises hardware designers on machine characteristics that affect software systems such as storage capacity, processing speed, and input/output requirements, designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education, judgement and formal software process.
